IV seedings

After a recent facebook debate sparked by one Limerick "Jim" Heneghan the IFDA seem to have altered their usual seeding policy for Open Intervarsities. In a private communication intercepted by the ultileaks tech team the seedings seem to show bonuses for colleges that field multiple teams. Due to this UCC have been granted a top four seeding for all three of their teams. Some critics of this policy suggested that it gives UCC an unfair advantage as they have triple the chances of winning. A prominent Cork rookie is quoted as saying "I would simply refuse to play and I would hope anyone else in the club would do the same" in relation to playing the first team. So it seems that two of the top 3 seeded teams that UCC will have to play this weekend plan on laying down as they stroll to the final against a presumably tired opposition who was actually made to work for their victories. It looks like the smart money will be behind the rebels this year with such an overwhelming advantage going into the tourney.

cry me a river

Our international correspondent has informed us that Ireland open captain Niall Harbourne was seen crying publicly while at Dr. Sand Mr. Grass in Tenerife last weekend. Reports from eye witnesses claim that it was over a skinned knee that he feared might rule him out for EUC later this year. This is most shocking given Niall's outspoken views in favour of MTFU. Though there are no pictures available at this time it has been confirmed that photos were taken and we will endeavour to show them as soon as they are made public. For now you'll have to make do with this photo from a similar event

Mixed team surprise

So the mixed national team has been announced and there is a notable absentee from the team predicted by the ultileaks experts. Sadly we can be wrong on occasion and our theory that Si Cocking only ran for coach so that he could pick himself has been quashed. Despite the concern the public must have for our inaccuracies this can only be a good thing for the national team.

Bad romance?

The ultileaks researchers have been hard at work digging up and scandals from around the Irish ultimate community and they have come up with this new lead. Former IFDA president Dominick Smyth is now purportedly engaged to Megan Reilly, daughter of the newly elected minister for health. They can be seen attending Megan's recent debs ball above. This may seem like a peculiar match, the most likely motive for this is that the aging Smyth is hoping for free medical care for his rapidly failing body from his soon to be father in law Dr. James Reilly. We at ultileaks wish them a a very happy life together.

birthdays galore

2 of Irish ultimate's oldest players celebrated birthdays today, Podge and Tony Laffan. Though they are keeping their ages as closely guarded secrets the ultileaks mathematicians have calculated that they are 30 and 40 respectively. Happy birthday to the both of them.

Caoimhe's hair

Caoimhe Quigley recently dyed her hair red. This may seem innocent enough until you consider the possible reasons behind it. An inside source says it was in an effort to attract notorious red head lover Rob Kiely and steal him away from Fiona McDonald. Will it work? Only time will tell.
